- Cruising with normal forward mode (engines ON) gives 15% power consumption.
- Accelerating with boosters gives 130% power consumption, generators get damaged.
- Cruising with boosters gives 17% power consumption.
All on a planet, in one direction, auto-brake is off.
So, is there a point to place additional generators making ship heavier and slower, only for speed boost from 70 to 79 m/s?
CV boost speed doesn't fade after acceleration (auto-brake is off). So, in space I can fly at boost speed all the time.
SV boost speed is fading after acceleration. So, I can slowly fly (for SV) only at 117 m/s instead of 160 m/s.
It's too bad about medium jets, they look cool and perfectly fit the form-factor of heavy fighter.
