Fourstrider's Traits
Some New Trait Ideas For Combat General. (Feedback)
As you know, Genral contributions in battle are limited and outdated. And we can use general traits to make them better (some ideas I got from TW 3 kingdoms) :steamhappy:
--About Combat general. The natural characteristics of the general get randomized at first recruiting, they are unable to acquire these characteristics during the campaign. Only one appearance when recruited . list of these :
*Indomitable
- Receive random when recruiting
+10 defense for general units. When directly engaged in battle and injures the unit 50%, +3 Morale grants units around him

*arrogant
- Receive random when recruiting
+15 attack for general unit, -1 Loyalty

*Pioneers
- Receive randomly when recruiting
+ 10 armor, -10% of the cost of maintaining the Cavalry unit commanded by this general

*Reckless
- Receive randomly when recruiting
+5 attack, +5 armor. Bonus XP for winning the battle

*Sword arts
- Receive randomly when recruiting
+10 attack for general unit . +1 attack for all Unit this man commanded

*carelessness
- Receive randomly when recruiting
+15 attack for general unit , -7% move for all unis this man commanded

--Characteristics can be obtained during the campaign ( still Combat general)
*dreadful
-Can be obtained when DIRECTLY killing the enemy general unit
+15 Attack for general . Lv2 +25 attack . Lv3 +40 attack

*ferocious
-can be obtained when winning battles with rebels
+3 inhibition, + 10% recovery speed for all units he commands

*admiration
- Received when he is an out of clan general and has won many battles
+ 10 armor, +2 morale for all units he commands

*enthusiastic
- Received while occupying the castle for a long time
+ 20% of the distance moves all units he commands

These are some good ideas! I actually already have indomitable in the game. It's probably the 3rd best trait you can earn. The problem with hereditary and earned traits is I have to script out conflicting traits. With so many traits already in the mod it's very tedious just to make one trait. I'm going to have a few more traits coming in my next update. They're earned traits that you can only get by earning them. I think you'll like them. You should watch my videos on how to make new traits and triggers and give it a go.

I mean, the traits should appear at the very beginning of the general so that we can decide how to develop them between the strategist and the warrior.
If I had received a general with an ingenious or intelligent character from the outset, I would develop him as my strategist. On the contrary, if he possessed a vanguard trait as soon as I recruited, I would develop him in a warrior-oriented direction. That is what is lacking in the Shogun2's general system

I see what you're saying. My only issue with that is the amount of administrators I need to beat my overhaul campaign is significantly more than the commander and warrior. I usually end up with 3 commanders, 3 warriors to backup those commanders and about 60 administrators to govern my provinces. It sounds like you use my traits mod without the general skill tree mod. I'd probably want to create a new traits script if I ever did something like that.
