Traits mod - 200+ NEW TRAITS w/ new unique triggers.

WARNING: If you do not download Fourstrider's Promotion mod then the traits that give additional XP will not give any XP. If you do not wish to get the XP bonus then you do not need to download that mod.

This mod takes the 200+ new traits from Fourstrider's Japan and allows you to use it with the vanilla version of the game or another overhaul mod.

This mod was balanced around a challenging overhaul mod and may be considered overpowered for the vanilla version of the game.

Governor traits cannot be learned by the daimyo or family members of the daimyo. Once a general earns a governor trait at a specific province they will not be able to learn one from a different province. The xp bonus will only work while garrisoned in that specific province named on the governor trait. The tax bonus on the trait will work at any province.

Your Mod still is one of the best ones out there and makes this "old" game still enjoyable ;-)

Sorry it took so long to get to this. It was a super easy fix. I think they may have changed the way the game reads the local_en.pack which is why I never noticed it before.

I encountered the same problem as Marcus Acripina (no text for non-mission events), and deleting the entire text/db/message_event_text.loc worked for me. I think this is caused due to the new text for "message_event_text_text_campmap_you_captured_kyoto" could not replace the original.

I don't have the time to compile a list sorry.

This mod was pulled from my first overhaul iteration. I put every ability either behind a trait or a skill.

The only thing that should be causing that issue is a mod conflict of some kind. You may have a mod in your data folder that isn't showing up on your mod list in steam?

Hey there, thanks for all the great mods.
Just one question, if i have this mod installed, no matter if alone or alongside other mods, it removes the text from many things, like agent actions or the text you get if a see route was raided. In this case the text box pops up but it is empty.
