Cross-compatibility of VVP monitors with stock monitors
Unfortunately I can't see a difference even after the second update.

The stock SM still obscures the Command Console

And SM02 doesn't space perfectly with the stock Navigation Terminal

The layout of VVP CC+SM02 doesn't look quite right either. Did you intentionally anchor the GUIs from VVP terminals in different places than the stock ones?

I feel like the stock GUI placement works best and allows perfect cross-compatibility. You could potentially copy all the stock anchors for your GUI.

Hey, thanks for the comparison, made my job much easier.

Thing is, I'm pretty sure that I've copied the relevant parts from the stock xmls in the last update. I've re-uploaded it again - with any luck, it should work this time.

Ok, the CC displays wrong in the editor but correctly in-game. I'd say it's fixed.

One more thing, an open offer for you and anyone else who reads this:
if you have the time to mess around with the XML, I'd be grateful if you could look into the muzzle flash issue.

Last time I've checked it, the barrel length of the default in-game coilgun was baked into the muzzle flash effect sprite sheet, and no matter how I tried, I couldn't offset it via xml config so it would fit my custom coilgun with much longer barrel. Having run out of patience, I've opted for the next best thing: I've edited the sprite sheet to fit the exact pixel length of my coilgun's barrel.
Even there, the effect had to be configured exactly like original, with the same column/row length, otherwise it wouldn't work. I suspect that there's room for improvement there, but I simply don't have the time to look into it and test it. If you feel up to the task - go ahead. Any improvements you make will be included into the mod to everyone's benefit.

Have you asked the experts on Discord? If you couldn't do it, there's not much I can do. I can only edit XML's but I don't know the language.

Yeah, I did, and their answer boiled down to "ayy lmao I dunno"
It was back in early September, and at that time nobody bothered with custom coilguns, so nobody knew anything.
