Mods that enhance the experience
I know the author made sure that DUWS Expanded does not depend on mods. But that does not mean that you can not enhance the experience with some.

Here are the ones I am using. It would be interresting to see what you all are using.


Map

  • Chernarus Redux - the best map for this

AI

  • LAMBS_Danger.fsm - makes your own team and the enemy more intelligent
  • CF_BAI - forces the enemy AI to respect terrain. No more headshots while you are hiding in high gras.

Immersion

  • Unit Voice-overs - better call outs from your team
  • JSRS SOUNDMOD - better weapon, explosion and vehicle sounds
  • Immerse - makes you feel explosions, near misses, ...
  • Blastcore Edited (standalone version) - better visuals for explosions
  • HopeCore v4.2 - better visuals for explosions
  • Helicopter Dust Efx Mod - helicopters cause dust clouds when landing/lift off
  • Max_Woman - female soldiers
  • Fifty Shades of Female - female civilians
  • Reduced Haze Mode - better quality sky

Utils

  • Asaayu's Group Marker System - identify your squad members
  • Simple Single Player Cheat Menu - used to activate Zeus, for correcting stupid Arma bugs
  • Zeus Enhanced - additional commands for Zeus
  • ArmaZeusCache - makes Zeus starting a lot faster
  • Arsenal Search - makes working with arsenal a lot easier
  • C2 - Command & Control - used for giving "everyone heal everybody" command
