Hi! I'm having an issue relating to textures and I've narrowed it down to this mod; specifically this morning's update (2020 06 11). Yesterday, everything worked great but, today, I have a weird texture bug.

I have screenshots on my Google Drive[drive.google.com]. The first three were taken during character creation (Vanilla, Character Editor, Prepare Carefully). The fourth was taken just after crashlanding. I've also included a .xml file with the full modlist at time of play, exported via RimPy.

Yesterday, I played with no problems. Today, with the same modlist, I get this problem. If I remove this mod, I no longer experience the bug.
Interestingly, the game plays well even with this mod on a stripped down modlist.

  • Mod Manager
  • Easy Extra Apparel Layers

So it's conflicting with one of the mods I'm using. I have 850 mods (not including Core & Royalty) on my modlist. Since I've found a workaround, I don't particularly feel like narrowing down the other culprit, sorry! That said, I wanted to give you a heads up.

I'm having the same problem as @deusexcaffeina. Everything was fine yesterday, and after today's update something got broken just like in his screenshots. My modlist is at 361, so it narrows it down, but not much I guess. Here's the Log link[gist.github.com]

most likely one of the TRANS: patches listed above, not alien races though since i tested with that, i dont use any of the VE mods or that hat mod, so theyd be the first ones id test

with both reports id wager its the VE stuff its arguing with, not much i can do about that im afraid, you could try loading this before VE, but that would likely cause their stuff to stop working

just doing some testing, seems to be vanilla hair expanded that its conflicting with, loading this mod before that seems to fix the issue, though ive never used the VE mods so im unsure if any of their functionality is being disabled

I noticed an issue with Vanilla Faction Expanded Medieval, where the tabard wouldn´t render properly and float at head height. There wasn´t a error in the log so experimented a bit. It seems it wasn´t directly an issue with VFE.
For some reason the rendering of apparel is breaking when the "drawOrder" of the "ApparelLayer" is or exceeds 400. (tabards drawOrder was 500)
E.g. the "ShellExtra" Layer of your mod doesn´t work either.
My temporary solution was to change the "drawOrder" of "VFEC_OuterShell" (layer of the tabard and defined in the "Vanilla Expanded Framework") to 399 and it worked.

Currently getting my logs spammed to hell and back with red exceptions referencing this mod when I had a drop pod rain spawn in, it's not causing crashes or anything but it cant be good. It might be a mod conflict maybe but i'll leave this log here just in case you can make sense of it (the errors spamming at the bottom) Version 1.4 also

This has happened to me before. From one day to the next, with no change to the mod list I go from smooth operations to stuttering unplayability and the logs mention this mod the most. I wonder if there's anything jumps out to anyone as an obvious fix.

Using this with Easy Extra Apparel Layers causes Face Cover layer items to draw in the center of the pawn's body.

So I'm having an issue where "ShellEquipment" items render over pawns' faces. I've tried adjusting the layer rendering in multiple mods below 400 as was done in a previous comment here but nothing has changed. I've tried using RIMMQoL to force the individual type of objects to render shell as clothing but that hasn't worked either. I'm not really sure what to do.

Alrighty, so now it's giving me errors with a gas mask which comes from the Equip Gas Masks mod (its eye layer). I was able to get both the Hubslib log, and a log uploaded using Rimsort which shows the specific errors going on in-game.
