Insane lag in HL2 and Episodes maps

So I wanted to play a map of HL2 EP1 with this, but I had huge lag, from 35ish frames without it to 10 frames with this mod enabled, maybe some optimazation for this mod would work? I have a low amout of mods enabled and it still lags with this enabled.
