Green Boxes Around Gibs [SOLVED!]
UPDATE: jayjayrobi10 figured out that the green squares and missing skeletons were caused (kinda ironically) by an error-fixing addon.

There are green boxes around the gibs. I know it's from this addon because I never had this problem until I installed this, and it's only around the gibs.

Also most of the skeleton won't show up. Only the skull did, and only once detached from the body.


I checked the console and it says: Bad sequence (-2 out of 250 max) in GetSequenceLinearMotion() for model '[model name].mdl'

(Note: I put "[model name]" here since it does this with all models, vanilla and custom.)

The "Bad sequence" warning I can't make disappear, but it's harmless. I've seen others have the green box problem but I've never had it happen so it's probably a conflict with another addon, if you could try disabling other addons one by one to pin point which one it is I could try to fix it. As for the skeleton not showing up I'm not sure what the issue could be, try validating gmod's files and see if it helps.

Do you have any idea what type of addons would be the mostly cause? I have a lot of addons so I'd like to disable the ones that seem most likely to be the cause first.

Also the Gibsplat 2 tab under Utilities spazzes out. I can't really screenshot it, but it shakes rapidly like the tab is having a seizure or something.


PS: I validated Gmod's files twice and it didn't help with any of my problems. :(

Since other people here have gotten the boxes I'd say it's some other goremod. I got the spazzing once but I thought I fixed it, might be resolution thing idk.

Hmm, is it possible for addons to conflict even if disabled? I do have LiteGibs and some blood mods, but the boxes are still there even when they're all disabled.

I did, and there were still errors while it was disabled.
I'll try uninstalling it and then validating the files again to see if it changes anything.

Okay, I uninstalled all of Galaxy's blood mods that I had and reinstalled Gmod.
My issue was not fixed; there are still green boxes around the gibs, and the bones are still invisible.
I don't know what could possibly be causing this, since I've tried disabling every single addon/mod that I could think of.
I even tried using the GitHub version. Still no fix. :(

I have the same problem but it started happening when the update happened I think its the error mod i have and im gona dissable it but just noting

fixed it if you have any error mod or arctic mod dissable them and restart garrys mod

You're right; it's all fixed! All the green squares are gone and all the bones show up. :D
