[Idea] Menu for selecting animals
First, thank you for this mod, I really love it.

What i don't love is to walk on the other side of the map for a rat with 50% missing body parts :D

Maybe there is a way to include a menu, maybe with just a adjuster, so you can adjust the minimum mass that would be allowed. Or, even better would be a checkbox for each animal, with is probably more work due to modded animals.

Just thought I threw this idea in the room :)

Lol :D. Omg you're so right about this.

And I am puzzled right now why while it always annoyed me but somehow I never thought about that I could fix it myself... never even crossed my mind for some reason :T
Thanks for that! I will definitely look into this

Sometimes it's the obvious things that we don't think of :D Looking forward to the update :P

Done :T

Default value is set to 10 now. But if sb figure out a better default value that works in practice and would suit most people, let me know.

Nice! I'll play a bit and let you know what I think is a good value. But, I don't know how mass works. Is it Mass = Meat amount? If so, 10 would be a half Squirel. :D

Select a corpse and click this big white i ("View Information") icon. This specific mass will be listed up there.

Squirel corpse is 10-15 from what I have seen. This is why I've set it to 10 so it'll ignore useless, half-eaten ones. If you want to ignore rats and squirels, then something >=20 should do the job

I tried that, but apparently another mod is messing up the list a bit. I can't see the value until an animal is dead.

One thing I noticed is that slaughtered animals are also banned if they fall below the specified mass. But since I don't have a guinea pig fur farm in the current run, that's not a big deal. :D

Thanks again for the quick update and direct communication :)

No no, it is completely un-modded behavior. This is why I started my previous post with "Select a corpse (...)" to emphasize that.

This mod looks at things that are forbidden (already) and allows them when specific criteria is met (like this mass now). So if a corpse starts or becomes forbidden - this mod was not responsible for that : )

(If you have doubts about this you can investigate the source code here[github.com])

Reading carefully probably helps. *shame on me* :X

Hey, if you say it's not because of that, then I believe you. The code looks like hieroglyphics to me, so I don't have much more than to believe you :D

I set the threshold to 20, which fits quite well for me.

If you remove this mod from the list (it's safe in this mod case) then you can compare it with default game behavior. My bet is that this mod has nothing to do with it... but you never know...
