I checked with the NSC devs - they definitively change reactor power for several classes, including the battleship. I'm loading NSC at the bottom of my load order.
I'm using 80+ mods currently and had the same problem until I got my load order right. If you want to test if its a load order problem try to set my mod at the very end of your list and test if it will work. If yes your order is the problem. If not it's a compatibility problem with another mod
I double-checked. Funnily enough, it actually is NSCs fault - something during the last update broke their reactor boosts for a ship class.
I have updated the mod a few days ago so that the ancient palace won't spawn. Steam should update the mod automatically.
This issue should be resolved now ;) I'm uploading the 1.2.2 version today
edit: ancient palace 3 times in a row
Yes the changes are implemented. Steam sometimes has problems with updating mods. If it doesn't show for you unsubscribe, close Steam and then subscribe again. If that also doesn't work for some reason go into the Stellaris mod folder and delete all files of my mod. Then subscribe again so it downloads the newest files.

It happened reliably on the 2nd of a particular month, so it may be something that's on_monthly_pulse?
After removing this mod it stopped happening, so it's definitely this mod or this mod not playing nice with another.
