(edit just saw this thread haha)
Also husks can be picked up by the sensor on the bottom airlock itll open for them theyll swim in and you cant open the access hatch to engange them. only way to kill them is going out the top hatch and swimming around the boat to deal with the would be intruders... lol
The Husk thing is funny. The sensor does not open doors, merely closes them if no movement detected for a short period of time. So the husk must be pushing the button or something (which it shouldn't be able to do without a crew ID card).
As for the above door, same as with the conning tower hatch, its controlled by the state of the outside hatch. To open it, the outside hatch must be shut.
If I had to guess, the husk is opening the door somehow, swimming in and not bothering to close it. And since its moving about the sensor isn't triggering the door shut.
I can try and reproduce, and come up with a solution... you must have some interesting adventures xD
- What is the red light on the ship?
- What makes the button Master Arm?
- At the shuttle endless energy? Or is he charging from the main ship?
And this is the best and comfortable ship that I saw.
- Red lights are just ambiance. For RP mainly.
- M/A switch (Master Arm) has to be on for the rail guns to be able to shoot. It controls a relay that blocks the trigger signal.
- The shuttle will charge from the main ship if the lever over the main ship engines (by the docking port) is on.
Thank you for the compliment.
Understood, thanks.
As for the fuel... If you order the AI to turn on/run the reactor, they always take out all but 1 rod. Your fuel wont last long on 1 rod, the reactor on my sub is geared towards having all 4 rods in.
As for the oxygen, the gen is automatic and runs off battery power, its not tied to the reactor. If you haven't run the batteries dry, the gen should kick in anytime any room goes below 60% oxygen.
Not sure why the AI wont fix it if its broken, or turn it on if Silent running is off. Trying to figure out why the AI do things the way they do is a pain.
If you are running any mods, it could be a conflict with something in one of those mods. I've been told about one or 2 issues that stopped as soon as the conflicting mod was deactivated. I built this sub around stock Barotrauma, so I have no idea what/if any conflicts with mods will arise.
If that's the case, I'm not sure how to solve that. There's no technical reason that should happen that I know of. Maybe a mod tweaking things and making an issue?
If its the doors just not opening, I can dig through the bits that make it up to see if there's something in there causing an issue. I've not had that happen in any of my testing of the sub, so if you can give me some steps to reproduce I'll take a look, see what I can see. Is it just anytime you undock and re-dock, or does it only happen sometimes?
Unsure of what the problem is.
If you get a moment, try using the DS Greywolf, see if the issue persists with that sub as well.
