Feature Request
First let me say this is a very nice mod so thx for that and your time creating it...
Now can we have the ability to scrap the empty soda cans to scrap metal? say 4 empty cans 1 scrap metal? reason being...make those empty cans useful :)

P.S i do not own PZ on steam but GOG so i am opening this here instead of comments since they are disabled for me

Funny you should say it, I'm setting the stage for a scrap recipe already! I had noticed how in the base game you can turn POP cans into metal bits, and I was studying to make that a reality for my cans too.

Cool...well you only have to decide on the balancing, now 4cans=1 scrap metal is in my opinion to easy, say 8-10 cans for 1 scrap so it makes the player haul the empty cans and it makes player decide on weather it is worth keeping them for later use or hauling them back, weight issues, did not check if your cans have weight when empty...so yeah some things to consider

My empty cans weigh the same as an empty POP can, 0.1 each. Eight sounds like a good number. Cheers!

Nice...have fun coding! :)

The Recycling Update is live! Crush your cans, then combine your cans. Make a Soda Sword, and send those zeds back to Hell-a-cola.

Note: There is no such thing as a soda sword.

just tried the new addition...looks good, my suggestion maybe add a saw as requirement to cut the crushed cans into scrap metal? but anyhow looks nice....finally i can go loot trash cans :D

In regards to wallet looting, the mod you're thinking of is ZConomy. I've been trying to get in touch with the developer (I like his mod as well, I wanted to help him update it to B41, or simply acquire his permission to do it myself). He hasn't responded, though, and it would be crass of me to lift a feature from his mod without better lines of communication with him. It's tragic :(

yes that's the mod, yeah you should wait for permission....any way it crossed my mind so i thought id mention it
hey man, i like your mod but i dunno if this even possible, can you add payments with credit cards? like a random amount on the cards or something? instead of cash

i know it's probably hard to do because i have no idea how modding works, or maybe like find a master key somewhere allowing you to unlock the machines for 'restocking' purposes ;)

just random suggestions :)

That was something of a thought I had had while messing with wallets. The trouble with credit cards was balance. A dollar is one soda, that is a tangible answer, but even a single credit card was liable to tank thousands of dollars worth of purchases.

I couldn't get around that problem, and it didn't feel right to make a credit card good for an exceptionally small number of purchases, so I decided to push the narrative that these are old, cash-only vendors. Re-stocking the vendors from a Pepsi truck, on the other hand, is something that will be in the mod as soon as the pieces fit together.

Added this as a general comment also, but Royal Crown (RC) Cola was really popular in Kentucky at the time of the apocalypse and should have a spot on the loot table. Thanks.

I've heard RC Cola mentioned enough times now that I think adding it is inevitable. My only hangup was that once I had hit eight sodas, I felt any more would be too many, but I'm starting to get over that. RC Cola next update.
