Report a translation problem
I would like to know how it is activated correctly please. I just downloaded the 3 files from Gittub and pasted them into the Killing Floor System folder. The mutator was on my list of Mutators and i activated it, but when i play a game (solo, dedicated or hosted sv) the effects are not deactivated. Greetings and thank you.
Hmm.. the mutator should work fine on solo and listen servers. Can you share the configuration you have? Also which HUD effects aren't working for you? Everything or just specific ones?
- False means 'HUD effect disabled'
- True means 'HUD effect enabled'
I'm not sure if all the effects are disabled, but for example Bloat's vomit effect is perfectly disabled thanks to the Mutator. The same does not happen with the smoke from the projectiles.
I tried changing the game engine in settings but it didn't work. XD

P.D.: In the first comment I also wanted to add that disabling smoke effects on dedicated servers didn't work for me either. Is the Mutator intended to run on dedicated servers? 😅
The 'Smoke' that is removed is not the explosion/impact, it's only the trail of the shot.
I just did a quick test on a Listen server and it works fine, but will debug more later in the day:

EDIT: I just tested a new feature to disable the 'Impact' smoke, it also works perfectly however it will make your game much more complex because you basically have no clue where the impact is, unless you are hitting ZEDs.
I will release a new version with a new configuration this evening.
-The 'Red' pulsating colors if you are almost dead is not disabled with the mutator.
-The burning overlay i dont know if is deactivated, i tried to be burned by a Husk and walk on fire and i didn't see differences between activated or deactivated hehe :)
-The 'Sepia' overlay that shows after you start the match (the blackscreen) yes it is deactivated thanks to the Mutator
-The doors related effects are not deactivated, i mean the "Door is welded" and "Press XXX to open door" messages
-'Zed Time Activated 'message i really don't know how this message is activated, i mean is exactly when the Zed Time is activated by killing Zeds but i never saw that message i was distracted
-The Bloat Vomit is perfectly removed with the Mutator hehe
-The Siren / Stalker slash overlay is not deactivated
-The smoke effects are not desactivated

I think it is a good idea to leave the smoke from the explosion because you say that the game is complicated.
Although it is interesting if you are going to add an option to deactivate the explosion/impact smoke. :)

I tried it on a listening server that I opened and the smoke from the projectile was deactivated thanks to the Mutator 😅 Also the vomit from Bloat is still deactivated. Same with the burning effect.
When I was playing I was wearing a vest and the attacks of the Stalkers did not activate the effect of the hud.
The same does not happen with the messages of the doors, the Mutator did not deactivate the messages.
I would like the smoke from the projectiles to be disabled on the dedicated servers. Does the Mutator work with you in dedicated servers?
My new version changes the way things are transferred to the client, so i suppose it will fix all issues. I will send you a test version once done and please let me know if it's fixes your issues
