A humble request for options
I would like to respectfully add my voice to the others suggesting a few mod options be available please. Just to allow a few of the most talked about to be easily changed by us beggars.

One would be *cough* Overdose *cough* because I find myself often avoiding alcohol or the related trait altogether because of the risk. I know that another user posted an lua edit that would turn it off but I'd still like to see it used.

The others were Hearty Appetite (which @TacticalHawk just mentioned and made me think to write this) and High Thirst. Now, as the game progresses you become stronger and more fit. It just happens. My only grief with these two is the amount of micro management that comes along with them (mostly Hearty Appetite). Especially so soon when you get Stout or Fit.

I personally like 96.1% of your changes and understand the incredible amount of work and balancing that went into it and that it is your creation but there are just a couple things I would like to tweak to how I play and enjoy the game.

Just to restate, I LOVE the core of your mod and want to use it and I hope this post doesn't come off in a negative way at all. I just wanted to voice my opinion on the matter.

I just wanted to add my proposed options for Hearty Appetite and High Thirst are: (1) Gained on Strong/Athletic instead of Stout/Fit or (2) not gained at all, for the cheaty faces. Overdose had been discussed enough I feel. If anyone has additions or better ideas please discuss.

About sandbox options, I will add for Overdose, still thinking if I want it to be options to reduce/increase but the mechanic still there OR enable/disable.
About Strong and Athletic being the requirements for Hearty Appetite and High Thrist I agree, I will implement that change

Change to only obtain them at Strong and Athletic level was implemented, please let me know if something broke in the process because I entirely redone the code that was written like 3 years ago

Thank you! This is fantastic news. Our server has been discussing uninstalling the mod because of the Overdose sensitivity, and I really didn't want to lose this great mod! Much thanks!
Kinda proposed this in the comment section already before I noticed this thread; for traits that require a certain amount of zombie kills, perhaps consider adding options to adjust those numbers manually, or link them to the population settings?
