Troops still appearing as peasants after changing to realistic option, any ideas/fixes?

Why are my unit cards all showing vanilla peasants?
In the graphics settings, change the 'unit colour scheme' from vibrant to realistic

Other than setting to "realistic" are all other options set to "Remastered" ?
Game language English as well maybe ?
Started a new campaign ? and not just loaded a "save game"
Any other mods installed ?
If so make sure RTR is 1st in load order in mod manager.
Tried verifying game files.
All are easy/quick steps, hope this helps 🤞🤞🤞
