Gold Source Chrome Texture Fix.
Basically if you see that Barney's Helmet is purely black and any other texture on the model that supposed to be "Shiny" Became Black, Then you have to Turn HDR Off in your settings, That Fixes the Chrome Textures. (If that doesnt work you maybe have an old pc or your game is running on low settings.)
