So if I'm in an early save, and I use your mod, your mod basically bankrupts us?
Engines are millions of c-bills and now none of my mechs have them.
Now I have a ship full of mechs with no engines, aka scrap metal.
Where the heck are all the engines that were on them???
If this doesn't go back, I am swearing of "mods" for good.
EDIT: Started a new game with this mod skipped the tutorial and No engine.......in my only mech :(
Even if this mod works, we shouldn't have to buy new engines for existing mechs as a work-around. Something like that can cripple an entire playthrough.
It's something the developer of this mod has stated multiple times before. This modset completely changes the ways mechs are constructed and the MW5 modtools aren't easy to work with. The developer clearly stated that this would happen to your savefiles so either start anew or don't play this mod.
Active mechs will even get these automatically installed for no cost or time, if possible by the equipment rules (cant install XL engine on your Cyclops Sleipnir if you have an AC20 in the side torso, since the engine needs 3 crits, and ac20 is 10 crits, similarly, can't install Endo if you have less than 14 free crits, etc).
