The mod adds diseases such as parasites and leeches. Please remove these, or make a separate mod patch that removes them

Not only do I have a fear of these (a stupid reason I know), its extremely tough having to also manage that and having to make or find a healing item just to cure it.

Thank you so much!

Might be a bit much, but is it possible to make a patch to remove Effluvium? It has relatively few uses in the mod and I don't like how it ♥♥♥♥♥ with the lore of basically the entire SB universe, or how it clutters my inventory bc it drops from every living thing.

I can do that yes. You can use it as ship fuel btw though

for solving your inventory room problem

i really like the mod so far, but with starburst core (and a couple of other weather mods), nuu drop string of curses absolutely constantly when in harmful weather. it'd be nice if there was a patch or an item that disabled this and just made string of curses craftable from the empty hand menu, instead

One of the things we keep running into on our server which is weird (and feels like a mistake?) is that the npcs / tenants will occasionally generate quests where they need an iron bar for an item, but it will use the M32 iron filings recipe for an iron bar, so to complete the quest we have to go find an alien planet with the correct biome just to facilitate a single step for a tenant.

I'm not really sure how to change this because I haven't experimented with the quest generator very much. Tenants and other npcs will also occasionally generate quests for Avikan / Denelaun crafting items too, even if you aren't an Avikan, or don't have the appropriate recipes / tanning rack to work with- so it's not an issue that's exclusive to Maple32.

I could probably fix the issue by making the iron filings smelt into iron ore instead.

That would be kinda nasty though.

I'm currently dissecting the quest system to see if I can figure out a way to mark recipes as not valid for quest gen

so this is randomly iron filings or iron ore, or is it always asking for iron filings?

If the latter it might just be using the last loaded recipe or something, IDK (I usually don't do quests)

It seems to choose one of the available recipes at random

I wonder if it's possible to force them to ask for the finished bars and not ask for the ores first? Since it's very annoying when they ask for 2 ore when you have a hundred bars laying around anyways.

I might look into it someday

Is there would be a way to reduce fps drop at haze planet's weather? My pc has low spec, but when I change to openstarbound, I never met inconvenience with the weather with weather lag mod. But after the installation on Maple32 and firat visit haze planet's fog beat down the openstarbound's power.
Lemon Drops  [utvikler] 12. aug. kl. 19.51
to be 100% honest using linux makes it faster. but that's not a real solution, I'm currently trying to optimize the weather and failing to do so without drawbacks.

The REAL cause of the lag is the fact that there's ~800 particles active at the same time, and taking the particles away makes it less foggy.

On top of that, healing water is a light source and light sources are resource hogs on windows for some reason, and since there's a lot of it on haze planets, it's a perfect storm of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to make both potato and non potatoes alike tremble

I'm currently trying to reduce lag a bit more, not sure how many frames I'll get back though
