Figured it would be nice to have a spot to discuss people's thoughts on the model and animations. I absolutely love how well each level mirrors the default sentry while remaining distinct.

I suggest you include images of all three levels of Skirmisher and Stock sentries next to one another for comparison.

The build/upgrade animations have bits that fall off as it builds. Just thinking that it'd look pretty silly having them float back into place when the animations are reversed by the Red Tape Recorder.

Sorry, I didn't see this discussion before. I'm never notified when people add discussions to my workshop pages. I don't know why that is.

I think the reversing issue with the Skirmisher is hilarious :meephappy:, and I did not think about the red tape when I was making them. Heck, I rarely see the dang thing, it's no wonder. Honestly, I would keep it just for the novelty. The stock sentry gun has weird quirks about its behaviour, why not give the Skirmisher some as well?

Alternatively, if it were truly an issue the developer wanted fixed, I could make reverse build animations that correct those issues by popping new panels out of the body of the gun instead of flying off the ground back onto the Skirmisher.

I really like the design this great looks like something taken from team fortress classic
Author is did a great job!
But sentry looks detail overloaded. Its hard to imagine this sentry with other gameplay stuff, an not got overhelmed. Or it just not enought " team colors"... Or it just "accepting new" as bad...
But i really love the concept, and it some "custom weapons mod" it can be one of the best custom things!
