Agent Wilson (from Don't Starve)

Gameplay guide
Wilson's abilities are quite powerful, but it's not immediately obvious how to use some of them - partly because, for flavour reasons, I decided to be very vague in the augment description about the most powerful ability of all. :D

On-File Wilson
OF Wilson has two distinct mechanics granted by his augment.

1. Ambush does not use up attack: In other words, can activate melee Ambush even if he has already attacked this turn. Ranged attacks are unaffected. Accordingly, he starts with a Volt Disrupter.

2.Peeking reveals unseen enemies who are about to patrol into the room.

Details: of how this works: The effect checks all of Wilson's seen tiles for whether there are enemies unseen by Wilson who are about to end their turn there. Thus, Wilson can peek in a room, and determine whether the room is safe by checking for "shadows". If he sees a Shadow Guard, then somewhere nearby is that guard, unseen, whose predicted patrol path (barring distractions or interruptions) will end on that tile, with that facing. Re-peeking will refresh already spawned shadows, removing those that are no longer accurate. For balance, Peeking has an AP cost of 1.5 instead of 1. The reason this only works on unseen enemies is so it doesn't replace the Observe mechanic.

Archived Wilson
Archived Wilson is a highly experimental "scientist". He may not always know what he's doing, but...

1. Quantum Refurbisher: Wilson can convert Charge Packs, Research Experiments and Valuable Tech into a random item of roughly equal value that he's got the skills to use. This requires use of his full AP for the turn.

2. Quantum Refurbisher, continued: Wilson can convert any item with Charges, Ammo or a Cooldown into a Charge Pack. This only uses up some of his AP, so can be done as an emergency measure.

3. Mysterious Chemical: 5 charges per mission, recharges between missions. When thrown, produces a 1 tile smoke cloud and KOs any human unit on it for 1-5 turns. Can be used as a makeshift smoke grenade, since the smoke functions as sightblock/cover. Can be used creatively in both offense and defense. Try using it in doorways when someone is targeting you through a doorway!

Both loadouts
Wilson can also shave. Shaving spawns an unmovable Beard Hair item on the ground that will distract guards. You can only Shave once you've grown enough facial hair (at least 24 hours' worth). A thick beard grown over multiple in-game days will take multiple uses of Shave to, well, shave. This ability will disappear if you drill out his starting augment. (Don't ask.)

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the guide! I was always curious what that "seeing things" ability was all about, but never really got around to try it, always taking the other Wilson instead. It sounds very powerful, gotta try it one day.

On a side point, the Mysterious Chemical description is also a bit misleading. Does the impact KO everyone, or does the smoke itself? The difference is, obviously, is whether you could run through a freshly-created cloud without risking falling unconscious the moment you enter a clouded tile, which is a very important distinction to make. IMHO, I think that should be in the guide, too. :3

P.S. Oh, and merry Christmas! ^^

Thanks for the comment, and you too! Yeah, I've amended the description of the smoke thing to change it. The smoke is safe to move through.
