track builder does not account for track type
I selected track constructions - track builder and then, in the menu, a track type. I plopped it and it had a different track type. Repeat with different track types: always the same.

Sorry for my late answer. I did not notice your posting here. Did you select 'Track Type' > [OTHER] before choosing an entry from the dropdown menu below? If you would have done I could not comprehend a bug. In this case you should send me a minimized test savegame with as few mods as possible.
