Suit Information
SUIT Drives
  • Can often be purchased at relevant stations
  • Unlocks recipe for suit on use, requires sufficient skill level in related field
  • Too many failed attempts to unlock due to skill level will erase the blueprint



Engineering Suits
(SUIT drives can be found at engineering stations)

EEL Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: Battery slot, 2 pockets
  • Resistance to burns
  • Improved item repair speed
  • Built in Electrical monitor
  • Built in Electrical vision
  • Built in Overcharger to allow non-mechanics tinkering abilities (requires battery)
    • Overcharger provides power to objects when tinkering
    • Intrusive means of Overcharging causes damage to items while tinkering
    • For those of you who forgot how tinkering works, you need a wrench

Moray Suit
  • Slow oxygen drain
  • Extra slots: Auto injector, Extinguisher slot, sodium slot
  • Immune to radiation sickness
  • Built in Status monitor
  • Extinguishers refill when sodium placed in waterproof slot

Lamprey Suit
  • Fast oxygen drain (can use hull oxygen)
  • Extra slots: Battery slot, 2 pockets
  • Improved physical damage protections
  • Built in stabilizer that increases stun resistance, movement speed, and accuracy while active (requires battery)



Mechanic Suits
(SUIT drives can be found at mining outposts)

WHALE Suit
  • Low oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: Battery slot, 7 compartments
  • Increased flow resistance and recoil stabilization
  • Heavily armored and slow
  • Built in Sonar with mineral scanner (Range: 60m, requires battery)
  • Built in Hydro propulsion system that activates automatically when underwater (requires battery)
    • Significant increase to underwater movement speed when active

Beluga Suit
  • Fast oxygen drain (can use hull oxygen)
  • Extra slots: Welding tank slot, ethanol slot
  • Built in Status monitor
  • Increased hull repair/destruction speed when wearing
  • Increased Ballast Flora destruction
  • Welding tanks can be refueled with ethanol (warning: not fireproof)

ORCA Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra slots: Battery slot
  • Resistance to lacerations and radiation
  • Increased flow resistance
  • Built in overclocker increases fabricator speed, deconstructor speed, turret charge speed, and scooter propulsion speed (requires battery)
  • Remote fabrication system to access nearby fabricator (can't transfer items manually, but can use fabricator's linked inventory)



Medic Suits
(SUIT drives can be found at research stations)

Wasp Suit
  • Fast Oxygen Drain (uses hull oxygen)
  • Extra slots: 2 Auto injector slots (Both inject when vitality is below 50%)
  • Improved potency of applied medical items
  • Built in medical scanner
  • Active Prevention System will auto inject antidotes when corresponding toxin is detected in the user
    • Supported cures: Anti-Cyanide, Anti-Sufforin, Anti-Morbusine, Anti-Deliriumine, Anti-Rad, Naloxone, Calyxanide, Haloperidol, Anaparalyzant
    • (Auto injectors will still inject both items when health falls below 50%)

Beetle Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra slots: Genetic material slot
  • Strong resistance to bite wounds
  • Emits gas that paralyze creatures of matching DNA (drains O2 tank)
    • Paralysis works faster on creature spawn, slower on larger creatures
    • Supported DNA: Crawlers, Mudraptors, Spinelings, Young Mollochs, Threshers, Mantis, Hammerheads
    • When gas is active, will also replenish oxygen to nearby creatures when not in water.
    • If incendium is loaded into the oxygen tank, will burn everything instead.

Mantis Suit
  • Slow oxygen drain
  • Extra slots: Alien battery slot, artifact container slot
  • Suit can contain artifacts at a third the cost of standard transport cases.
  • Suit has different powered effects based on stored artifact (requires battery)
    • Thermal artifact: Increases repair speed, reaching critical levels may cause an explosive surprise.
    • Faraday artifact increases turret fire/charge speed and weapon fire rate, reaching critical levels will short-circuit your electronics.
    • Skyholder artifact increases underwater speed, reaching critical levels expel your suit's oxygen
    • Psychosis artifact increases pain resistance, reaching critical levels will cripple your nervous system.
    • Nasonov artifact does not make you imperceptible. This technology does not exist. You do not exist.



Security Suits
(SUIT drives can be found at military fortifications)

Viper Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: Pistol Holster, 4 pockets
  • Increased fire rate and accuracy
  • Increased recoil control on heavy weapons.

Cobra Suit
  • Fast Oxygen drain (can use hull oxygen)
  • Extra slots: Battery slot
  • Immune to nausea
  • Boosted physical protections
  • Powered armor increases pain/stun resistance and movement speed while active (requires battery)

Sidewinder Suit
  • Slow oxygen drain
  • Extra slots: Battery slot
  • Increased swim speed (Slow on land)
  • Built in thermal cameras (no flashlight)
  • Built in sonar and sonar beacon (requires battery)
  • (Sonar range: 80m)



Captain Suits
(SUIT drives can be found in secure wreck cabinets)

Renegade Suit
  • Slow oxygen drain
  • Increased melee attack damage and CPR abilities
  • Fast and Heavily armored
  • Worms

Director Suit
  • Standard Oxygen drain
  • Extra slot: Battery slot
  • Built in beacon (requires battery)
  • Can remote into any navigation terminal locally onboard a sub
  • Can remote globally into any machine within 250 meters (machine requires "ddcs" tag in sub editor)

Tyrant Suit
  • Fast oxygen drain (can use hull oxygen)
  • Extra slots: Alien battery slot
  • Increased melee attack speed
  • No pressure protection
  • Can buff users when given an order while active (warning: requires SUIT drive to be unlocked, requires battery)
  • If amplified, buff will be increased, and will prevent user from going unconcious (drains battery faster)
  • With adverse effect, user will be incrementally paralyzed while active
  • If adverse effect is amplified, user will suffer organ damage, can be lethal (drains battery faster)



Assistant Suits
(suits can be crafted without a SUIT drive)

Routine Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra skill gain buff
  • Suit can be built/purchased directly from stations
  • Pressure rating of 4000

Standard Procedure Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra skill gain buff (half as much as Routine suit)
  • Suit can be built or found in wrecks
  • Pressure rating of 8000
  • Built in Logistics PDA

"Sparky" Electrical Procedure Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: 2 pockets
  • Extra electrical skill gain buff
  • Suit can be built or found in wrecks
  • Pressure rating of 6000
  • Built in Electrical monitor

"Apprentice" Mechanical Procedure Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: extra tank slot
  • Extra mechanical skill gain buff
  • Suit can be built or found in wrecks
  • Pressure rating of 6000
  • Built in Status Monitor

"Apothecary" Medical Procedure Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: 2 medical pockets
  • Extra medical skill gain buff
  • Suit can be built or found in wrecks
  • Pressure rating of 6000
  • Built in Medical Scanner

"Cadet" Security Procedure Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: pistol holster
  • Extra weapon skill gain buff
  • Suit can be built or found in wrecks
  • Pressure rating of 6000
  • Improved Ballistic/puncture protection

"Navigator" Piloting Procedure Suit
  • Standard oxygen drain
  • Extra Slots: battery slot
  • Extra helm skill gain buff
  • Suit can be built or found in wrecks
  • Pressure rating of 6000
  • Built in Sonar Beacon

Fool Suit
  • No Oxygen tank (can breathe hull oxygen)
  • Requires clown diving mask to build
  • Immune to watcher's gaze
  • User goes mad with clown power
