nevermind i cant seem to do it right with the definition templates having to delete the original one without losing the whole catagory like i posted in the comments of your mod so im just gonna try again from scratch later and take a break from it because i was getting so frustrated lol sorry about the bother if i have anymore questions ill be sure to ask lol thanks bud

Well you don't have to actually delete the template variantmesh if it is causing problems. So long as it isn't assigned to any unit is won't affect the mod.

You forgot to add attach points in the variantmesh

You do that in the assembly kit or with the variantmeshes in PFM, the last section of the tutorial deals with that.
