Some of the items in this mod are unbalanced or maybe too situational. I'm open to any ideas and suggestions you might have. Here are my thoughts on all the items.


Greed's Deal

The biggest strength lies in the fact, that the damage is completely ignored, if you have the money for it. It's like a Holy Mantle with more charges based on your money. That means you can save your deal chances or prevent Damocles proc. It's especially strong for characters like the lost or the keeper as a way to "increase" their health with money. That's why it's 15 gold and not any less.

Ceremonial Dagger

Pretty self-explanatory. I only fear it might be a bit too strong, if you get it early on. I might lower the damage it gives you.

Masochism

This item might be the most overpowered one and definitely needs changes. The effect is only once per room, but if you re-enter the room, you get it back. It does not give you sac room rewards on proc, but you can heal with it indefinitely and get all the sac room rewards anyways. My plan is to make it once per room, without reseting on re-entering.

Teddy Bear

Nothing to say here really. It's simple and solid and I'm happy with it. Boss Pool needs some better items imo.

Pete's Blessing

This item is affected by items you picked up previously and all the items you'll pick up in the future. It doesn't count active items. I'm pretty happy with the current state.

Blue Pill

I struggled a lot with coding this effect. It basically gives you 2 seconds of I-frames "before" each hit, where you can quickly heal if you need to. It is a bit janky with the cursed room right now, and there's a bug with the sac room, which does not give you any rewards.

Whole Leaf

This was the very first item I made. It might be a bit too unforgiving, so I might change the timer to like half a second or a second instead.

Pistachio Milk

Another kinda overpowered item.The point of this item is to strategize and think about when and how much you shoot, but it might be a bit too forgiving. There is no cap of how low you can go. I think I'll increase the amount you lose, so that you can actually get under 5 Tears in a reasonable time though. It only overrides Fire Rate modifiers and gets overriden by charging items, such as brim, knife or monstro's lung. It still works with tear effects such as dr. fetus or mutant spider, making it very strong.

Speedrunner

I'm pretty happy with this item. The only thing I would change are maybe the timers. I think the 2 seconds feel good, but the 4 seconds on entering a new room, might be too much, but I'm really not sure here.

Curse of the Greed

This item affects all the items for the rest of the run, so you definitely want to use this later in the run. 5% decrease feel good I'd say.

Golden Cross

Probably gonna change the heart container it gives you to an eternal heart. Same thing basically, but you can decide if you want to use it early on the floor and risk losing the heart or wait until the end and have the heart guaranteed.

Devil's Tonic

Probably gonna change this to 2 charge and lower stats only when not under the effect, or keep 1 charge and only lower the bonus instead of the stats, not sure here.
