Known Issues & Bug Reports
Bug Reports

Bugs are inevitable, and there's only so much one developer or modder can discover through play testing on their own!

Please provide as much information as possible! Locations, characters, skills (either on toolbar or equipped), when it occurred (combat, peace, cinematic). Also let me know if you have other mods activated.

Known Issues

My Icons are not loading and some skills status effects don't work!

Trader doesn't have [book]?
  • Traders only restock with certain events. If you are certain you've NEVER talked with a merchant and they don't have the books available despite the mod being active, please let me know. Traders your HAVE spoken with prior to activating the mod will only have the books when they restock (their inventory will update on level up).

Additional Request
Please be informative and courteous in reports and replies. Suggestions for this mod that include new features are generally not going to be actionable as the mod in it's current form is complete save any bugs or issues that might need ironing out.

Ward Against Elements and Ward Against Projectiles have the same description. WAE also has a question mark for an icon. They work properly, though!

I saw this, and I've had to take a break from DOS2/Modding lately. If the the blank skill icon is still persisting I'll take a look and I'll update the descriptions hopefully before this weekend.

Double Dragon - both buffs on a character are with question mark

I could not find the issue with WAE not having buff icons or skills icons, couldn't replicate either. Maybe something that was fixed after the previous upload and I forgot to update.

Double Dragon icons should show up in the buffs and WAE/WAP should have proper descriptions.

Seems to be an issue with elementalist skills not showing up for sale if the trader has too many skillbooks in their inventory. This isn't really an issue in Fort Joy, but it becomes a problem in Driftwood as most traders have 2-3 skills that they sell skills for, especially if you have other mods that add to their inventory. I think it would be prudent to make your own skill trader specifically for the elementalist skills to prevent such conflicts.

I'm not sure what books are missing. Just loaded a level 20 into Driftwood with all of Odin's mods plus my own and the Pyro / Aero / Geo / Poly trader had well over 100 skillbooks. All of the Elementalist skills were present that were supposed to. Which books were missing and what level were you?

EDIT: Same for Bree with a summoning mod, mine, odin, and crafting overhaul (which adds a ton to her crafting selection as well).

Apologies for the late reply, storm took out the internet yesterday. I was level 9, having just gotten to Driftwood. Bree had none of the skillbooks except for the elemental attunement infusions. Ovis had most of the geomancy and pyromancy skillbooks, but none of the aeromancy ones. After turning off a couple of mods, (Arcanist DE and Overlord, both of which add skills to those traders, but not all that many) the elementalist skills seem to show up properly. I have no idea if it's a conflict with those mods specifically, though I can't imagine why it would be.

It was a mod that altered the merchant inventories. I've done it before, but there's an option that if you overlook, it overwrites the original list instead of adding to it. I would reach out to those authors and see if they missed "Append to Parent" in their treasure tables.

A followup, it seems the conflict is with the arcanist mod specifically. Doesn't really explain why it didn't happen before Driftwood, but it's easy enough to get around. Thank you for your time nonetheless.

The Fort Joy merchants have a specific treasure table that excludes some skills, specifically source ones. The exception is Gareth who always has access to a full-game inventory. I'll send them a message as well when I get a moment. Thank you for helping me hash it out!

No problem at all. Minor issues aside, your mods have been a load of fun. Though the original author of the Arcanist mod seems to have abandoned it, so I doubt you'll get a response. The DE version was the work of a separate individual on Nexus.
