I've been waiting for this one to get fixed, but apparently this modifies the same file required by situation window mods, and vanilla situation window is atrociously uncomfortable.

So it's either this or “2 column situation” and while this is a great mod, a good news feed is far less important to me than a good situation window.

Do you do compatibility patches/versions?
I've tried creating my own local Frankenstein of the two but it's too complicated for my lack of knowledge.

P.S. I ran this alongside with your war alerts and they both work. Some wars get double-reported but if you don't enable same kinds of wars on both sides it should be fine.

P.P.S. I think your war alerts is (on it's own) better than this mod. This one may be more sophisticated, but it's also a lot less practical.
Also, war alerts doesn't conflict with situation window mods, so there's that. ;P

I'm very new to gui modding. I think in general to combine different gui mods you need to do those Frankenstein patch mods that combine the parts of the two that overwrite the foundational vanilla gui files that make their mods work. I wasn't aware of the situation window mods, I'll have a look at them.

I'll keep War Alerts updated, all the work for it has already been done, and because on_actions can be invoked separate from any vanilla on_action it should be very resilient to any vanilla updates and patches and be easy to keep up to date.

Interesting how you say they work together, I'll try it for myself.
