Ceda Fever
Ceda Fever - Review by Endless
★★★★ 4/5: Polished and intense

With the small number of three maps in total, you would think that maybe this campaign doesn't bring enough material to be worthwhile, but, luckily, I can tell you that despite the short number, this campaign does not fall short in terms of overall quality in an excellent picture of solid entertainment, detail and progression.

CEDA Fever is a traditional campaign focused on an urban theme. We must fight our way through an infested city to reach the evacuation center located in the CEDA offices. The way the campaign progresses and the evolution of the encounters, as well as the visuals in general, makes this campaign feel like a great tribute to No Mercy (one of my favorite campaigns) but, at the same time, keeping its own identity thanks to a selected number of encounters that make it feel unique and entertaining.

The three maps follow a simple to follow system and there is no loss. The progression is stable and the encounters feel fresh; the combat against the zombies is entertaining, but doesn't drown you in artificial difficulty, on the contrary, the maps offer enough ammo and weapons to give us a good fight, which makes it feel quite welcome at all skill or difficulty levels.

Even though there are only three maps, each one is relatively long, and they are longer than average, still, the campaign itself is about 30 minutes long, so you won't spend a lot of time looking at the details, which leaves a bit to be desired in the end, but, despite that, CEDA Fever is worth it. It's fun, fast-paced and intense, combining a traditional design style with a solid polish.
