Leather Optimization C# + Materials Filter + this mod
So i've recently run into a dire problem.

when i originally installed this mod, i had to get rid of the leather optimization mod, because no matter where i placed it in my mod list, it always over-wrote the monster hunter leathers, making them all Heavy Fur.

after sinking a couple dozen hours into my playthrough, i've been getting the "Stack Overflow" error. this is a game killer, as it can happen at any time, and usually the best way to fix this error is to reduce the mount of materials in the game.


is there any way for AsG to get in contact with the Leather Optimization C# mod author, and collab a toggle setting for the monster hunter leathers to be excluded from the list?

would likely fix/save my playthrough, and many other playthroughs

Ran into the same issue.

Unfortunately, from what I've read and taken a cursory glance at, the "Stack Overflow" error happens when there are "too many materials" for the Materials Filter mod to go through.

The Monster Hunter RW's leathers alone are enough to push Material Filter to the limit if not directly over.
(especially since I suspect you are using "a few other mods" that add their own materials)

so if i just uninstall Materials Filter, i'm likely to not run into the stack overflow issue? i thought it was just an issue the base game deals with when there's MANY new materials added via mods.

if dropping this one filter mod "fixes"/prolongs avoiding this crash, i'll gladly sacrifice a single QoL mod to be able to play with more content, lol

I'm guessing the reason is because I made each leather type uses a unique graphic rather than the base game way of coloring a single sprite based on material.
