There is actual life outside the submarine and in the ocean.

I recommend getting the "Seamless Portals" add-on and using the portal gun from it to teleport yourself from the sub and sea back-to-back. The map is entirely on rails and you have to restart the power every now and then. I placed an entrance portal inside the sub and an exit portal on the trench walls.

However you first need to type in "ent_remove_all trigger_teleport" to allow noclipping out of the sub, and "ent_remove_all trigger_weapon_strip" to allow usage of the weapons in Garry's Mod, thus allowing you to use the portal gun from this add-on: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2773737445&searchtext=seamless+portals

After those, you enable "sv_cheats 1" and type in "bindtoggle <key> mat_fullbright" to see the abyss without it's overwhelming darkness. This will allow you to see the sea's fauna and flora without having to use the flashlight.

I unfortunately haven't taken screenshots of the sea life, though I would absolutely love to see what you guys find on your own.

one problem how tf do i see anything

Bindtoggle a key to "mat_fullbright".

For example, I typed in "bindtoggle o mat_fullbright" to bind the function to the 'o' key. You will also need to type "sv_cheats 1" to be able to turn on fullbright.

i found a weird squid that you normally cant see then found some guy in a white suit and he said something and then crashed my game

i tried to do the matfullbright thing to 1 but the outside area is just black

Looks like the creator knew that people were gonna find a way to exit the sub

idk if this is widely known but I saw a big fish thing just swim pass the sub when I turned on the camera

idk its just I havent seen anyone else say anything about it

Funnily enough I didn't see the fish swim by when I went through the map with mat_fullbright set to 1 and the two brushes infront of the sub removed. Well, it doesn't actually look like a fish, it's basically just a big head with a very thin tail and small eyes. It looks rather goofy
