It was created by Zeke Wolf so you would have to ask him if you can use it but if he says yes would be amazing to see Russian scouts using it
@andrepos
Regarding the SS having uniform helmet covers, source material also show that this wasnt universally the case. In the mod a number dont have helmet covers in order to vary the individual soldier in the squad a little more. Because I'm using 100% in game resources, I unfortunately do not have access to the panoply of SS camouflage, so this is more limited by design than by choice.
@Last-Aztec-Descendant
Only about 3500 Federov Avtomats were ever produced so it is unlikely that it will ever be added to the mod. Even the G43 that saw over 400,000 built, I've included maybe 1, or 2 at the max in 1944+ units. The problem with these "unique" toys, is that while cool, by adding them in it makes the appear like the were common, when in fact they were very rare.
Loving the mod and the choices that have been implemented. I have made mods too so I know how important your choices are in the mod that you have made and I respect your dedication to the realism. I have a couple of suggestions and thoughts, feel free to use as you see fit. :)
1. Rifle grenades, where did they go!? This is a very useful and common weapon that has kinda vanished. To give you some numbers from the Germans Kar mounts for this is around 1.4 million units counting started at 1942-1945 (compared to 0.4 million MG42). HE rounds 38.7 million where made 1941-1945. Could you please include it as an independent trooper again and include it in more of the units i would suggest it be placed in most of the Fallshirmjagers and 78th and officer units.
2. Officer units. Fallshirmjagers: CO is missing a mp 40, Radio operator is missing a mp 40, medic is missing a pistol. 78th: radio operator is missing an MP 40. Haven't tried the others.
3. Lower the cost of Snipers to 2, medics to 2, Fallschirmjagers sniper team to 3, places it in line of manpower costs. MGs and Mortars I would suggest to lower to half their current manpower.
4. Just a call out: Loving the panzer 3 late and panzer 4 late man power reduction it has become the work horse of my army!
5. A suggestion that is more to do with ease of use in the research tree and troop tree (lowers scrolling time) and game balance: I would suggest removing the whole Grenadiere path. As the 78th does the foot work better than the Grenadiere and the SS does the mechanized better. Both the SS and 78th are endlessly more flavor than standard Grenadiere boys.This suggestion has less to do with historical and more with ease of use.
***If you want to keep the Grenadiere, moving the volksgren and volksturm to the end of the 78th is another suggestion as those are units i would want to try but I really dont want to go through the Grenadiere :( ***
Thanks again for the great mod and for reading this far! Have a good weekend
Thank you for your feedback. It's immensely valued. Back at work this week so haven't had the time to really go back and mess with the edits, but i'll add in the rifle grenades again. Most likely that the early 1942 and possibly 1943 squads will get one per squad.
For the missing MP40, I'll fix that for the next update. I'll do a pass on the command teams.
The medic for me was very difficult to implement. With HangEm's realistic damage mod units die extremely quickly, but having an army of medics lined up behind wasn't necessarily realistic either. I was toying with having them as part of the command squad, but the command squad as a whole is a bit disappointing (no real bonuses to cohesion)... so it's more of a "I dont know what to do so I left them as is". I'll continue thinking how to implement them better.
Same sort of goes for the Grenadiere. My concept was that they would represent the semi-generic units like the 5. Panzer, 25. Panzergrenadier or 14. Infanterie. The "idea" was that they'd be generic, but eventually open up to volksgrenadier equipped with automatic weapons, or cheaper volkssturm, but unfortunately it seems that maybe the 78th takes up too much of the stage light. I'll continue thinking about how I can improve them, or maybe even have them branch out into the Jager division. Food for thought.
Manpower changes to mortars is something I'm definitely considering at the moment, as I feel that balance in terms of availability is a bit "off" between the 8cm and 12cm mortars.

Glad that the Panzer III J+ and Panzer IV H-J changes are having that effect, as it's exactly what I was aiming for :D
Mod is great btw. Really enjoying it.
Are there yet any plans to adjust the veterancy levels of the soldiers?
If not, then i would like to suggest that. :D
That would make them even more usable, as they level up and would round up that mod perfectly.
The 250/9 was probably one of my favorite vehicle variants of the war, very fun little machine.
Hopefully development on this mod continues; also, curious: Is there any chance the Germans could get access to the Sd.Kfz. 7? It's a great prime mover but also more importantly can be used as a good offroad transport and was very popular with Pioneers. Could probably put it next to the 10 and just not bother with motorizing a squad in it.
The Sdkfz 250/9, Thor and Jagdtiger have been added in Update 7 in coherence with Scorched Earth and Community Update 2.
Sdkfz.7 is actually available (and has been!). It's located right after the Supply Maultier. I don't feel like it's a good location for it, but I'm also thinking of doing a review of the German tree and re-organizing it. It's getting a little too spaghetti.

The Thor could use a research price increase, that's something I need to look at. As for the JT... good luck. Requires Jagdpanther AND the King Tiger....
