[CAT] Show Hair With Hats or Hide All Hats
Compacted hairstyles
Hi,
I'm not sure whether this is a request or a bug report or what. But.
I have noticed some hair get compacted, when wearing some hats. Since vanilla behaviour is to just not render the hair at all, I figured it must be from this mod. Am I correct?

Anyway, it seems to only happen when bodyPartGroups tag is set to UpperHead, and not FullHead. (I feel this should be reversed, since it results in helmets etc displaying sticky-out-bits, but things like the coronet hides them, and makes the hair really slick to the scalp. Looks bad when wearing that sort of small hats.)

So I was wondering, since this makes some hair+hat combinations extremely ugly, could that maybe be removed, or maybe put in as a fifth option? I can see it being my preference for some things, like hoods and over-head veils.

It's already an option, uncheck the 'Use "Don't Shave Your Hair" hairs'.

Okay, when I originally read this I must have misunderstood, I can see about adding an option to override the Don't Shave Your Hair option for individual hats.

Also, it seems I wasn't notified the first time you replied, whet the hell Steam??
I'm gonna have to check out that option as it exists today, I think I noticed it a while back, but I haven't had a chance to try i out.

Where do the "don't shave your hair" hairs come from, anyway? Are they a part of this mod, or something else?

I think so? The feature was there when I took over the mod, so I'm not 100% sure on their origin.
