Military and diplomatic options and maybe some trade options and its all we need.
I wish there were assimilation rate and migration rate cheats.
Adding in from a comment I posted earlier under the mod:

1. A way to add a specific resource to a state. Ex: Add sulfur to the amazon state in brazil.
2. A way to increase and decrease the infrastructure of a state.
3. The ability to increase throughput of industries on an individual state basis.
4. Easy / fast incorporate state and colonize
5. Production output modifier. Ex: instead of a base input output like 5 Engines -> 25 electricity make it 5 engines -> 100 electricity for an electricity industry building.
Really the main things I would like are reduce peril for expeditions and most importantly something that can cut build time.
assimilation and conversion
assimilation (I really want to test if the 10 billion differenct cultures you get from migration causes the lag that starts around 1860)
I'll echo the request for assimilation and conversion buttons. I think they'd probably be country modifiers like how Bureacuracy and Authority boosts are done.

Well this ended up a learning experience for me. Got assimilation and conversion added to a local copy in like an hour, and most of that was figuring out how the gui stuff worked, since I've only dabbled in modding the older pdx games like Vic2 and EU4 where modding the UI was way too hard for me to figure out. Also figured out buffing and debuffing the political power of specific interest groups (gotta get that Shogunate power down fast for Japan).

Tomorrow, I'll clean some ugly overlap stuff up, figure out a couple more things that seemed pretty easy from the vanilla event code, then send my code over to the author to see if he wants to include them.
a cheat that makes people qualified lol this game's barmy without a actual proper system

It is not possible currently, I talked with one of the devs and told what features were missing and what could be added to improve GUI modding.

These features will not be a priority though and will probably come after the initial bug fix updates and when they have extra free time to add them.
Great mod, but could you change the position of the button ? The mod "More Spreadsheets" hide the button of your mod. Maybe putting it in the extreme bottom left of the screen, far from any other UI possible positions for other mods ?
