Server or Dedicated Server?
How do you get this to work if you have?

We have not used any dedicated servers, just hosting for Multiplayer. That just needs the workshop mods added in the server settings.

With a quick search I did find a few guides that needs the Mod/Workshop ID added to an .ini file on the server, here is a link.
https://shockbyte.com/billing/knowledgebase/478/How-to-Add-Mods-to-Your-Project-Zomboid-Server.html

This mods IDs from the description page
Workshop ID: 2893930681
Mod ID: FurryMod

If you have any trouble with it let us know and we can see if there is anything else we need to do on our end.

To have this mod work on a dedicated server, you must:

In the server ini file:
1. Add the Workshop ID, 2893930681, to the WorkshopItems line. E.g., WorkshopItems=2893930681;<other>;<other>
2. Add FurryMod to Mods. E.g. Mods=FurryMod;<other>;<other>

On the client you must make sure you are subscribed to this mod.

I have personally tested this on a dedicated server, so if it still doesn't work, please let me know.

I've attempted to run a ShockByte server with the Workshop ID, Mod ID's involved in the [world.ini] file as instructed and there were no results for me. This is my first time hosting a server so that may be part of the issue. I did Restart the server after configuring the [world.ini] file and also running the server with that mod alone, but there's no results.

I'm sorry but I don't use ShockByte so I can't easily provide support for it. I can confirm, though, that a dedicated server run on direct hardware just works with the lines WorkshopItems=2893930681 and Mods=FurryMod - though the client MUST be subscribed to this mod.

So long as a platform/service offers you the ability to change the servers .ini file, you have to make sure the workshop name and ID are correct followed by a ; before and after each. sometimes syntax is wrong and you may have typed a : on accident or misspelled the name and that will be the cause of why the mod itself will not show up in your listing when you bring the server up and running.

I managed to get this figured out. Currently doing Alpha Test for my MP server to test Mod Compatibility.

I'm currently live as of the time of me posting this, take a looksee if you wanna join the Alpha Test. It's ending on Sunday of Feb 12th with a wipe. :)

I have currently created a dedicated server, for our beautiful community, it still has many things that need to be improved but everyone is welcome. 7/24 :steamhappy:
Game: Project Zomboid multiplayer
Server Name: Da Furry Server
IP: 189.213.12.158
Port: 16261

I guess this server was closed down? The game says the server is not responding.
