Why would anyone ever want to chose this shield over the others? Every other shield has better resistances than this and they don't need to be facing a certain way.

I like that you set the resistances in the front, but looking at the last 3 stats, do you really think anyone would use an item that makes them a walking target?

Just giving an idea:
+15% resistance against projectiles
+15% resistance against melee
While wielded with melee, player is immune to push force
-10% Movement Speed
Knockback from charge impact is doubled
If charge hits an enemy, then recharge is cut in half.

High risk, high reward

That would make this shield completely useless. Other shields have better resistances, don't offer more fall damage and offer more mobility with charges.
How about
+40% resistance to all damage from the front;
+30% resistance to all damage from the back;
+50% charge reload speed;
-1 second charge time.

How about this:
+60% resistance to fire damage.
+20% resistance to explosive damage.
+20% resistance to bullets
Charges and move faster in water

that sounds like it would be a water thing
how bout a name like the Loch-ness Charger? iunno sounds fitting with those stats
Jamboo 26 Jul, 2014 @ 9:03am
SINCE it is an airlock it should reduce knockback from airblast
Tater 26 Jul, 2014 @ 9:06am
Increase the resistences by 30% each and those would be reasonable stats
Can Of Sprite (Banned) 26 Jul, 2014 @ 9:29am
Mine would be:
+25% Fire resistance
+25% Explosive Resistance
+Imune to pushback (Airblast, force of nature, ect.)
-Lowers maximum health by 25 points

I like this. It would make the item usable only by advanced players, and if used right could completely screw up an uber duo.

Thats kind of overpowered. It would take 5 seconds to charge normally, or 3.5 seconds with the persion persuader equipped. And, it makes you pretty much safe from most damage with the exception of afterburn and attacks from the side.
Pink general 26 Jul, 2014 @ 10:00am
90% resistance from ewrything that hits the shield itself and 50% push resistance from front
White_Wampus 26 Jul, 2014 @ 10:02am
Maybe if it has increased knock back, then the hatch would open and a rush of air would come out, sending the target flying. (Although now I think about it, it is just the airlock door ripped out of the frame...)
It also looks pretty beefy so Dramatically increased resistances and slower move speed would be fitting.

Also, is it just me or is his arm clipping thorugh his jacket/vest in the picture?
