"I can't start the game".

There is a bug in the game where it shows wrong keybindings. This was reported as a bug but not fixed as of December update.

Menu controls, assuming Universal Recon (gamepad), or KBM (default bindings) are:


LT/RT - This opens the menu if selected, or adjusts the chosen option if this is not a menu.
A/B buttons - Selects next/previous menu entry.
RB button - Goes back one menu level, or completes game setup if you are in the parent gametype customisation menu.


E - next menu entry
1 - previous menu entry
LMB/F - Opens selected menu or adjusts chosen option
RMB - Goes back one menu level, or completes game setup if you are in the parent gametype customisation menu.


"The game has an infinite loading screen"

This is caused by not having CE campaign and CE multiplayer both installed. Please ensure you have both which should resolve this.


"I can't die"

A known issue in co-op due to the many problems getting this working with zero engine support, done by design. Single player at the moment is the definitive experience, co-op is experimental. More details are in the main firefight documentation.
