Spec abilities
Squaddie:
  • Bloodied Shroud reduces wound recovery time by 34%, and gives 2 HP. Passive.
Corporal:
  • Life Shift reduces your HP by 1, but boosts the squad by the same amount.
  • Clotting grants a 2-point shield for two turns on sacrificing HP.
Sergeant:
  • Abyssal Pillar creates a 3-turn pillar for a 1 HP cost. Preserves concealment.
Lieutenant, captain, major:
  • Hematic Rites puts a 3-turn 2-point shield on all allies in a 3 tile radius. 5 HP.
  • Circulation grants a 3-turn regen of 1 HP per turn on sacrificing HP.
  • False Life erects a personal 3-turn 6-point shield. Costs 3 HP. Not turn-ending.
  • Renewal heals you and any allies within 5 tiles for 1 HP at the start of each turn. Passive, can only heal up to 5 HP per unit.
Colonel:
  • (60%) Abyssal Shot fires a psionic shot with ~+120% damage. Costs 3 HP. Boosts shred and pierce by the same amount. No effect from special ammo.
  • (40%) Blood Spear fires a psionic line shot with ~+140% damage. Costs 5 HP. Boosts shred and pierce by the same amount. Ignores cover, but cannot crit.
Brigadier:
  • From Below It Devours immobilizes all organics in a 3 tile radius for 2 actions. It drains 2 HP per action, and only has one charge. Costs 10 HP!

Note: Both Circulation and Clotting search for skills with HP costs and a #c34144 pale red icon, e.g. blood magics.
