I've seen that you could probably change some of the names, because these names are already famous locations in Portugal

No problem. But you could search for every province name on google and see if it matches a real life location. For example, the province IDs 4873, 4879, 4887, 4888, 4895 and 4922 are places which are located in Portugal (and everyone who lives there (only the country) knows them).

More than half the provinces on this list are based on real life Portuguese locations, my logic being that Portugal would name many of its new colonies after lands in its core. If you still wish for me to redo the listed provinces to different names not based on existing locations, I would be more than willing to.

Also some extra province names if you are ok with them. Just some miscellaneous islands I wanted to name/translate into Portuguese. Feel free to change them if you prefer otherwise:

1998 = "Ilha do Natal"
1999 = "Ilha dos Cocos"
1248 = "Maldivas"
1101 = "Ilha de Camões"
574 = "Ilhas Andamão"

1986 = "Nova Caledônia"
1993 = "Ilhas Dias"

Those are some nice province names, but I just have some suggestions:

- 4887 could be either "Bocaina" or "Bocaína", but both names make sense.
- The same could be applied for 4869. In this case, it can be both "Custilhão" or "Costilhão".

Now the ones you've created

- 1986 is the Brazillian name, so I could save that name for the brazillian culture. In European Portuguese, we spell it "Nova Caledónia" instead of "Nova Caledônia".
- 1999 could be "Ilha dos Cocos" or "Ilhas Cocos", however you want.
- 1101 I would suggest "Ilhas Camões".

The rest of the names are great, thank you!

Sounds like good suggestions to me! It'll come out like this then:

4887 = "Bocaína"
4869 = "Costilhão"
1986 = "Nova Caledónia"
1999 = "Ilhas Cocos"
1101 = "Ilhas Camões"

I'll update the colonial names fan fork with all these revised Portuguese names. Thank you for your feedback.
