First Playthrough - no empire quests so far (Day

Playing "New Family" with Ariadne storyteller, adventure story. I kept the original location w/ the large villa. 151 days in and I've had no empire quests and no opportunity to earn honor. I can't advance my character without these. What do I need to do to start triggering them?
