Apart from Heroes and Fortifications, unit max squad sizes, and unit costs and upkeep, no unit stats nor weapons have been altered in any way. The Heavy Weapons Squad appearing to do little damage with its krak missiles against vehicles has also been confusing me since I haven't changed anything regarding weapon stats nor unit accuracy.
The only thing that comes to mind is if the "light tank" was in a squad of 2 or 3, which naturally increases their combined total hitpoints. If both the Heavy Weapons Squad and the light tank squad were fully upgraded to max squad size, theoretically the damage delt and damage received should be equal to if they were what they are unupgraded... though apparently that's not the case.
There is one caveat however: in vanilla Gladius the Heavy Weapons Squad comes with 4 "models" meaning 4 missile launchers are used when they attack. In my Tabletop Squad Sizes mod I reduced them to 3 "models" as per Tabletop and with this variant starting squads at minimum squad size, they start with 1 "model"... while this makes them weaker than vanilla Gladius even when fully upgraded, they do come with cheaper unit costs and upkeep.
