Can you also check if the beta version https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2885848275 crashes for you too? Should narrow down if it's a corrupted mod install

So far (ragnarok, server, and with whichever mods I already had installed off the ID list), I haven't been able to replicate the crash. So I'm leaning towards either a corrupt mod install, or it's a conflict in one of the ones in the modlist that I can't access yet

I don't think it's a corrupted mod install, as I set ASM to force install from steam when I update. I also forgot to "publish" my mod list and it's now going through review. I will try the test version and see if it crashes. I'm pretty sure the issue I'm having has something to do with updating from the old version to this new version, I've been using it for several months now without issue.

Corruption occurring when updating/installing is where you see it most often, regardless of what the method was. Modlist does indeed work now though so I can give the full thing a try, but if I still can't replicate it, and you still see it with the test version, might need other mod/server configs or savefiles in an extreme case

Well, the full modlist got me a crash this time, albeit a different one and in singleplayer (gen2). So there's an issue with whatever of that list I didn't already have installed for sure. Will see what dedicated spits out and start narrowing down which mod's causing it. Seems it was a one off, though.

Can't get dedi to crash at all, or singleplayer to crash again, so given it's a completely unrelated message, I doubt it's related (and I still can't repro your issue)

I've gone and used the test version and that seems to work just fine. I deleted and reinstalled the mod again and it seems to work now? I don't know why it would crash for you if it was just a corrupted install. I appreciate your time and effort into this. If something else comes up I will be sure to let you know. If you decide to try to find the root of all this I would be interested to know what it was.

I determined the crash I saw was completely unrelated and a one-off (I loaded another 5 times and did not see it again, plus twice on dedicated), some issue with the first time Genesis cutscene vs the UI, i'd guess. Reinstall fixing it means it was 100% a corrupted install, sometimes downloads and installs just break. Usually it's nice enough to give us Bad Name Index while installing and you can instantly identify the issue before you even run it, but sometimes it gets a bit further before anything comes up (To be fair, not sure if installs through ASM even can hit it, you see it when installing, not booting with, corrupt mods in Singleplayer though)
