Highway To Hell Fixed v2
Highway To Hell Fixed - Review by Endless
★★★★ 4/5: Classical cityscape fun

Highway To Hell is well made city-themed mapset with tons of a variety and a great deal of visuals to impress you as you play. Designed all the way back in 2013, this little piece of nostalgia has become a mainstay name in a lot of early players and current veterans, and I can see why.

The visuals are pretty damn good and follow a simple yet effective style that manages to keep up with the modern qualities of a good campaign. There's a ton of variation and detailing, each map being connected logically through a series of sound scenarios that are both entertaining and challenging. A mixture of Death Toll and No Mercy, if you will.

The gameplay is above average, and can get quite nasty at some points, particularly in the highway and tunnel areas where there's plenty of spots to get horded on. As long as you keep notice of where the weapons and items spawn, it is pretty manageable.

My only gripe would be the fact that the very last map feels a little lackluster. It is a Dead Air style rescue, but it is far too easy and seems to drop the challenge in favor of, well, nothing really. Is just a little boring compared to the rest of the mapset.

Still, if you enjoy city themed maps (the bread and butter of this game) then you will find a lot to like in Highway to Hell. Also, despite being ''fixed'', it did crash once on me. So watch out.
