So far my only fix was putting the game in a different language than English (French for me) whenever I switch back to English the text just goes away.

Hi, i can't seem to replicate this issue on my end. Perhaps you can disable all other mods and try subscribing and resubscribing to see if it solves the issue?

I have identical issue. I use only this mod and I tried re-subscribing. I must try the different language.

Using newest version of Vic3, I will try different GFX settings and come back if something helps.

I have the same problem. My money is on a font issue. If I play the game in French, it doesn't seem to have the same font as in the screenshots on this workshop page.

So yeah, switching language worked for me as well. Time to see how much French I remember, lol.

I had this issue in Linux Manjaro - I got it working by going into ./fonts/cwefonts.font and changing the references of the "CWE" folder (all caps) to "cwe" (no caps). Unix-like systems like Linux will be case-sensitive with paths, so I think this is also why it was not reproducable in testing for others. (Of course, there may be yet another issue in addition to this for others)
