I would make a lot clearer what units i can bring and how many, sometimes i can have 2 infantry squads of the same and other times i cannot, the UI needs to be clearer on what each division has to offer and how many

On another note, the general number of units should be higher or customizable, it feels weird invading with 6-7 tanks but only 1 infantry squad and not being able to call in another.

You are right and what you request has also been foreseen.
For now, the Player cannot yet decide which Units to include in his Battalion only because the Economy\Production System as in CONQUEST has not yet been implemented.
As you may have noticed, there are Icons on the Strategic Map that refer to just that.
I added a Table in the images of the Mod where you can see how the Battalions are built...

For your second request, when you will be able to create your own Battalions, you will also be able to decide which units to insert.
It being understood that each Battalion Type is bound and limited to its specificity (HoI4 style).

Understood, i just want to say that what you are creating here has the potential to vastly outdo the base game conquest. This is the real conquest and i wish you the best of luck and i will try to help testing it whenever i can.
