When trying to load race mods it says "Yanzihko's Race - Core Module [YZRCM][1.4] is not loaded, when it's loaded. Im trying to put the mod before the race mods or after or in the beginning with the other core stuff (DLC's and etc) and still doesnt want to work.

I'll take a look but even if it complains, everything should work as long as core is loaded

I was testing and other mods that needs the coreworks fine. The only ones that have this issue are:

Braixen and Delphox
Zoroark
Vaporeon
Sylveon

Please upload their hugslib logs and link them in a post instead of pasting error traces. These traces do not and never did provide enough information about the game's environment in terms of other running mods, among other things.

Modders need as much information as they can get, and pastes like these don't provide enough.

So either its something with my mod list or you just cant add genes to your eeveelutions at the start of a new game and during games (with Character Editor). Im not sure because the new genes for them have in their description that theres little to no room for changes.
If the eeveelutions are meant to be gene locked, is there a way to turn this off?
if the gene restriction is just a bug that happens to me because of my hilariously long mod list,
then ill happily just take the L and live with it.

i dont wont to send the logs and all that kinds of stuff because i just want an answer to my question whether the gene restriction is meant to be or not (and maybe how to surpass it if its meant to be).

Hope i don't trouble you too much with this

I seem to be having an issue with the races using this mod don't seem to be able to use A Rimworld of Magic magic skills. They have the skill but the menu never shows up and the abilities aren't accessible.

Are skills tied to a gene? For now my races cannot use non whitelisted genes as to avoid compatibility issues.

When I add the (eeveelution) specific genes to my pawns, all other genes are not there/do not apply.
As in, when looking at the Xenotype itself, the genes are there, but when looking at the pawn, they are not there.

Yeah, actually, I cant apply any Xenotypes to the eeveelutions. The genes simply do not apply. What is this? Even without the eeveelution genes, including the base one, I cannot add any Xenotypes to them. Your other characters, specifically the Zoroarks, do not suffer this issue.

But why lock this for everyone? A lot of us play with heavily modded games, in which their abilities are nothing in terms of power. Even just with Vanilla expanded, the abilities are not worth mentioning. Even removing the abilities still stops me from adding other genes. Can't we just have an option to disable this restriction? It is not fun.
