Mod Hints and FAQ
The mod doesn't start, crashes immediately with an error "Could not find culture name 'GERMANIC' in expanded string table"

Switch the game language to English please. The mod only works in English.

Why the unit cards/textures are not showing up properly?

Go to Settings -> Graphic Settings -> Set Unit Color Scheme to "Realistic".
This is mandatory toggle for not just this mod but all mods for Rome Remastered.

During campaign, some factions become passive/stay here doing nothing

This is a bug of Rome Remastered engine. You have to save, go to main menu and reload the save in order to temporarily unstuck the AI. No workaround until Feral fixes their game.

During campaign, when I own ~50-80+ regions, there's a freeze/stutter each time an army or agent is moved

This is a bug of Rome Remastered engine. If you use a cheat toggle_fow in the console to disable the fog of war, the stutter will be gone, but of course this is immersion breaking and also breaks achievements. No other workaround until Feral fixes their game.

What are the Roman reforms and how to trigger them?

There are three reforms at the moment.
1) Marian reforms: Roman factions need 4 Imperial Palaces in Italy or Sicily (other families count too towards the limit; Rome itself and Northern Italy cities (Cisalpine Gaul), above Julii starting position don't count)
2) Imperial reforms: Roman factions need 40 Imperial Palaces anywhere on the map (other families contribute towards the limit, and Rome does count too)
3) Late Imperial reforms: same as above, but 80 Imperial Palaces needed.
Also you need to have a very specific settlements among those 80:
Rome, Antioch, Alexandria, Carthage, Pella, Pergamum, Gadir, Bagacum, Numantia, Ancyra, Amaseia, Brigantium, Lemonum, Carthago Nova, Lixus, Philadelphia

Why there are provinces where Local Barracks/Stables/Missiles offer nothing when built?

There are a lot of gaps in the regional recruitment and a lot of content yet to be included at the later stages of development. Some regions have richer recruitment options than others, while in other regions Local military infrastructure is a placeholder at the moment, to be filled in the later updates.

Will there be more factions/units in the future?

Yes, eventually new factions will be added. Unfortunately, the nature of the game engine is that old saves will no longer work when a new faction is added, please keep that in mind and make a backup of the mod if you want to have a particularly long walkthrough. Note that before the savegame-breaking update drops, there will be a warning on the mod page.

Will the religions sustem from BI (Aka cultures system used in Extended Cultures, Extended Greek Mod, Hellenistic Legacy and many other popular mods) be added to the game?

No, we do not consider adding that system as it will additionally slow down the expansion which is already slowed down by such a huge map.

I want to stream the mod on YouTube, but I got monetization removed for using the mod music

Use the "Vanilla Music Restore" submod, see the Barbarian Empires & Submods collection on the mod page. Place the submod above the main mod in the load order.

I want blood in the mod! How to enable blood?

The mod doesn't have its own blood mod installed, use any blood mod from the Workshop. Recommended one is Skynet's Blood Mod. See Barbarian Empires & Submods collection on the mod page. Place the blood mod above the main mod in the load order.

Any suggestions on how to make the map graphics stand out more. I've tried every whichway but it still looks washed out.

I'm playing as a Roman faction and I noticed the price of the units just doubled. I have not noticed this before playing as a Roman faction. Anyone else have this happen to them?

@Sh33vA_503 update with rebalance

Yes, the recruitment prices were doubled (upkeep is the same), which imo improves the gameplay as battles are more meaningful now and there are less stacks on the map

I noticed I can make 2 units at the same time which is not the case in vanilla. How does it work?

Apparently it works only in Rome... Please give us some explanation on that

Sorry for the late reply about the Civil War conditions.
Civil War may start normally, during the regular province conquest, but that takes longer than vanilla game.
For AI, the Civil War starts automatically if none of the "normal" conditions of Civil War were met till turn 270.
For player, the condition is for Roman culture in the world controlling minimum 30 huge cities (player and AI romans combined)

Pasting comment here for everyone's reference on starting conditions for Roman Civil War. So that it doesn't get lost in the comment section of the mod page.

Thanks again Lanjane for the clarification and for this great mod.
