Thanks for the detailed feedback! In short, items in the blender don't like it when you go underwater (which isn't your fault) because I'm dragging the entire island around the player but thrown items ignore that.
I built in as much error handing as I could which is why items in the blender disappear when you walk away from the blender, and vice versa. But, it doesn't always work for some reason. You do get credit for throwing everything in the blender even if it comes back out, so I'm not sure you actually needed to restart, but you may not have realized that.
I'll do some brainstorming and see if I can think of a more stable solution. I'm trying to avoid slots in the blender which would hold items well, great because I like them falling in there randomly vs in fixed positions.
