It enhances immersion while honoring the cinematic aspect.

I wish I could program so I could help you develop something like this:

OBJECTIVE

Bring the entire Project Zomboid map to life by adding visual stories of survivors in parts of the houses. Each house receives one of the three PROFILES below, creating distinct immersive scenes (barricades, curtains, blood, loot, etc.).


POSSIBLE PROFILES

1) FORTIFIED SHELTER

• All doors/windows barricaded (planks (random mixed wood or metal) + nails).
• Curtains closed on both floors.
• Small piles of supplies (canned food, ammunition).

2) IMPROVISED SHELTER

• Some barricades (not everywhere).
• Lots of curtains; most of them are open.
• Mess ≈ empty cans, clothes on the floor, light blood.

3) RUINED HOUSE

• Broken doors / broken glass.
• Blood stains scattered around.
• Almost useless loot; feeling of complete loot.


RESULT IN THE GAME

• Different houses in each new save, but persistent after created.
• Player understands the “story” just by looking at the scenario.
• Performance maintained (no coroutines or heavy loops).
