Before Steam integration, Catchy and Anton made a cargo ships mod, they had 15-20 small and medium sized ships, a really nice variety. They stopped updating it though. Unfortunatly their ships are in prefab form, and as such cannot be loaded due to the change in file format with the most recent update, if you had a save in which they all were I could convert them and add them however.

It is possible to make different versions of each ship, rundown and not, but at the moment I'm focusing on adding new ships. If you were to create rundown versions and upload them to the workshop as private or whatever I could download and add them fairly quickly, my only reqirement is that they have beacons with power otherwise they would spawn and despawn without anyone even knowing they were there, if that is what you want though, I could make another version of this mod with just rundown ships, for people who want to stumple across rundown ships by chance.

If you're having trouble with your thumbnail, when exiting the save, the exit and save button causes the thumbnail to be blank, so never save and exit manually save then exit.

actually, i saved manually and then quit without saving. no clue why it does not work...
