Balance Suggestions
This is a thread where all your balance suggestions should go. I'll try and read all of them! No promises that everything will be added, as this is still my rebalance pack.

I have my own goals with this mod and I want to keep it consistent with those goals, which are to make the weapons all feel more unique, while adhering to what the devs were going for.

A prime example of this is my changes to the Chrome shotgun, it already had a slightly tighter spread, all I did was reinforce this idea further while adjusting mag size to account for the stronger range achieved. Try to think like that when coming up with ideas!

Obviously other parts of this pack doesn't line up with that, the AWP rework is pretty huge, but that was mainly because we have 4 sniper rifles in the game and making them all feel unique and useful was pretty hard, and since the AWP is a big, powerful gun, I figured it'd be cool to have a "new" Tier 3 in the game.

tl:dr, suggest stuff in this thread, try and keep the changes in line with what the devs might've done if they had more development time, extreme changes aren't usually considered but throw em in anyway, ill still read suggestions put in the comments too btw

Since you're already using some vscript to edit cvars, may I suggest changing "director_cs_weapon_spawn_chance"?
If you don't know, it's the cvar that affects how often the CSS weapons spawn (default value is 0.25 making them rare, max value is 1 which makes them spawn about as often as the normal weapons)

I know I'm late to commenting on this, but I don't understand why the chrome gets a buff despite it already being better than the pump shotgun, the wider spread of the pump doesn't even really make it any better for crowd control. I'd of at least expected it to come with decreased damage per pellet or give pump a bigger buff. The chamber nerf isn't much to write home about either, as it doesn't really do much for shotguns, specially not the T1 shotguns which shoot so slow.

Pump and auto get out-damaged by their L4D2 counterparts as they land more shots, which imo doesn't make them feel unique, just makes one better/worse than the other. I'd like to see auto and pump at least do an amount of damage considered actually like, respectable compared to their counterparts.

Apart from the shotguns, I think this mod does a great job balancing everything out. I enjoy it lots, it adds a feeling of freshness to the game's gun-play and play-style.:steamhappy::steamthumbsup:
