Guards Access Key not working on second floor of Ravaged Stronghold
Hey there. It looks like this is broken for some reason. I cleared the main hallway of demons on the second floor, then found the key in the container on the floor. The double doors at each end of the hallway took a thieves pick roll (DC 25 and 30), but did not open with the key. I failed all the pick rolls, so had to rest to prepare the knock spell. After Knocking the doors at the ends of the main hall, the final door to the Dukes chambers gives the "This door cannot be opened" response. I tried giving the Guards Access Key to all party members and having them try on that door, but it did not work. I watched the youtube video of Gimpy Knee playing that part of the adventure, and it looks like the key his party found was able to open the doors at the end of the main hall without lockpicking/knocking, and also the final door to the Dukes chambers where everyone is gathered.

I Don't have any mods, but I do have 2 hirelings for a 6 person party, and I've been playing in multiplayer with one other person. I also have 2 copies of the Guards Access Key in my inventory. Any thoughts?

Hey there, you are just not using the right key. To open doors in the Stronghold's 2nd floor you need the 'Ducal Crest Key' that you can find in the 'Lounge' on 1st floor.

Guards Access Key is for other places.

Oh, wow, big user error there! I didn't really think to look on the ground floor since it seemed time critical to get to the upper floor! Thanks for the reply though, now I can finish.
